Obituary of Pierre Pilon

Passed away peacefully in hospital, Shawville, Québec, on Friday, June 20, 2014, in his 87th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Edith (Spinks). Beloved father of Allan (Mary), Pembroke, Donald (Helen), Waltham, Richard (Maria),Waltham, Barry (Jeannie), Portage du Fort and Brent (Sue). He will be missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Brad, Jason, Kevin, Mark, Billy, Jeff, Chris, Amanda and Jesse & his great grandchildren Nicholas, Melissa, Brody Anne, Tanner, Konor & Hayley. Predeceased by his parents Simeon Pilon & Leda (nee Fortier) & by brothers, Monseigneur Roland Pilon, Jacques, Mark and Robert. Survived by his brother Paul, sisters Laurette (Romain Spencer) & Marie Campbell. Remembered by his many nephews & nieces, who have also shared many memorable moments in his life. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 56 St. Jacques Street, Chapeau, Québec, on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday, June 23, 2014 from 9-10 a.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Fr. William Kenney on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Waltham, Québec. Interment in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery. Many thanks to the medical & support staff of the Shawville Hospital, the Valentine Centre in Campbell’s Bay and to the countless friends and family.
