Dear Joe, you left us 2 months ago today, and, I'm still saddened that you are no longer with us. There is an empty spot in our family that will never again be filled. Pauline's heart is breaking with the loss of her soul mate. You both fought so hard to arrive at a diagnosis and you never lost hope. You always impressed me with your strong work ethic and your love of the outdoors. And, of course, your sense of humour. But, I'm equally proud of how you fought against all odds. My only wish is that you would have made it back home. Our visits to Lac DuMax will never again be the same without you greeting us as we arrive and proudly co-hosting our stay in the country. I'm missing you. You'll always have a special place in my heart. Love you now and forever. Your sister-in-law Nicole.

So sorry for your loss Aunt Polly. My favourite memory with Uncle Joe was that time I visited you both in the summer and we collected sticks in the woods, carved them and engraved family members names into them. I appreciate him taking the time to do that with me... I love you both very much and I am so glad that Uncle Joe had the chance to meet the babies. You are in my prayers, and I know you will have comfort in knowing He is watching over you and keeping you safe!
