Jeannie - sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I remember meeting him around 1991 when I was a teenager. Whenever I pulled up in my parents Jeep to your property (Shawville) I was on edge because he spoke his mind. Some really great memories from meeting you at the Shawville Fair to meeting your whole family and your dad, he was super funny and kept me on my toes and even showed me around a Skidder - who knows, maybe that's why today I have such a connection to lumber, logs and live edge stuff. Ebert was one of the toughest men I knew if he liked you well he would do anything for you if he didnt you knew he didnt.i have been very fortunate to have been part of his family and life for a quite a few years not going to say there were no bumps in the road but you could always expect him to say what he thought whether you liked it or not.i for one am surely going to miss him.
