This is a very sad time for family and friends. To lose a wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend at such a young age. She still had so much more to do in her life.... but she has left our world and is now safe from pain in another world.
We became friends through playing ball that evolved into after ball fun and games.

Dearest Family of Barb Thomas,
I send my deepest condolences out to you. You probably don't know me, I went to Victoria Ave High with Barb, we were good friends. However I left the area to attend McGill in Montreal and lost touch with Barb. The last time I saw her was when I stopped to purchase corn on the 148 highway at the end of her lane. It was so good to get back in touch with her and get news from all the Quyon gang we had hung out with way back then. She so kindly invited me in as she always did, but I was in a rush to get back to my family and friends up the Otter Lake way that I did not take that time to spend with her. Little did I know that she would leave us so early in life. She is the same age as me. I will always remember her big smile and the kindness in her big heart.
May you her family, please cherish her memories, she was an amazing gal, and I will think of her often. May she rest in that place where she awaits a reunion with all of you and us her friends too. Big hugs to you Barb, journey safely.
