It's with deepest regrets that I acknowledge aunt Violet's passing. Although it at been many years since our last gathering (the late 80's), she was a beloved aunt to us from Ottawa. Our most heartfelt condolences to Norma and the Hearty and Normandeau families on their great loss. Our hearts are with you though we are far away. Violet was the strongest and most independent matriarch that I have ever known. Her love and determination as a mother was immense and i truly admire her strength and attitude. I will always remember fondly how often she made us laugh when visiting kelowna and the beautiful bond that she shared with Norma; A wonderful example to us all
