I appreciated and enjoyed each of our chats as we would run into each other at many community events (she always made sure to ask how my brothers and I were doing)... Mrs Laliberte, nothing but great memories come to mind. You were so good to us as kids growing up in Campbell's Bay. Too many great memories to mention. I remember you would take us all swimming where you had your vacant lot on the banks of the Black River. We would play in the water for hours and you would lay on your lawn chair soakink up the sun wearing your summer hat and reading a good book. You always had a lunch prepared for everyone and what can I say about the super awesome 3 or 4 layer lemon cake topped with loads of whipped cream. Thank you for the memories, may you rest in peace you beautiful soul.

Dear Fern, David, Dennis, Linda and all of your spouses; to all of the grandchildren and great grand children, to Helen's sister Shirley and all extended family, we offer our sincere condolences.
As Helen said she was one to "face things head on" and she certainly did just that when she was given the diagnosis of the short time she had ahead.
Helen was so involved in life she was going all out to do the things she had on her bucket list. No one thought of Helen as 83 years old she was always working and moving at the pace of a 50 year old to help others.
She will be missed by all of you, her family; by all of the ladies of C.W.L, by St John's Parish family, by the Vie Active exercise group, by all of the Red Hat Ladies and by her many friends and former students.
Helen enjoyed life and she lived it in a true Christian way, she was ready to meet her creator.
May the good memories she created live on in all of us who knew her.
May she rest in the peace and love of Christ.

Most of us have hazy memories of people we come across during our childhood years but I can say that I remember Helen as a woman of great kindness, understanding and humour. I was lucky enough to live in the same neighbourhood and was a friend of one of her children. It was also my pleasure to step in as 'babysitter' to her younger two children whenever my older sister, Linda could not be there. Both her and her husband were so nice to me and always ensured that, even though I lived just down the street, I was always driven home. Thinking of Helen today and the wonderful and lasting impact she had on my life and the lives of others who were fortunate to be a part of her living world May you always watch over your loved ones.
