Obituary of Rita Harkins (nee Chaput)

Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital in her 86^th year. Reunited with her beloved husband James Harkins and her dear son Brian.  Daughter of the late Eugère Chaput and the late Anna Gendron.  Loving mother of Donna (Leonard Godin), Rick (late Joanne Bertrand) and Janice (Perry Larochelle).  Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Don Fleury), Ashley (Tim McGuire), Brianna, Brittany (Taylor Corriveau), Brandon (Katie Kinslow), Macie (Taylor Campbell), Logan (Christina Barone) and great grandmother of Tanner, Stella and Lennon.  Rita will be greatly missed by her brothers, sisters, many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 56 rue St. Jacques, Chapeau, Quebec on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 19 from 12 to 1:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Waltham, Quebec on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 2 p.m. Interment parish cemetery. Donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be appreciated.
