Obituary of Ronald Emmerson Roy

 It is with great sadness that we inform of the passing of our dear brother and friend.  Ronald lost his battle with cancer supported by his family and the gentle care of the Palliative Team at Shawville Hospital.  Ronnie was the first son of Emmerson Roy and Beatrice (Martin) Roy (both deceased).  He was also predeceased by his brothers Douglas (Barbara Wallace) and Michael and his sister Margaret Anne.  He is survived by his sisters Lorraine, Cherylene (Dennis Weatherdon), Catherine and brother  Daniel (Elizabeth McCall) as well as his godson Derek Weatherdon and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. We are extremely appreciative of the excellent care Ron received from his doctors, nurses, support personnel and volunteers during his palliative care at Shawville Hospital. Funeral mass in St. Edward’s the Confessor Church, Bristol, Quebec, on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 11 a.m.  

May Ron rest in peace, pain free and in God’s loving care for evermore!
