Obituary of Loyola "Leo" Joseph Fortin

Peacefully in hospital, Hull, Quebec on March 24, 2019.  Son of the late Edmour Fortin and Blanche Graveline.  Predeceased by son Ken (late Peggy) and 18 month old granddaughter, Samantha, brothers Arnold, Ronald, Fernand and Léandre and sister Lorraine.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Helen Dubé.  Devoted father and Dad of Geordy “Chico”, David, Kim (Charlie), Bruce (Carrie), Dean (Margie) and Bobby (Nancy).  Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by his 2 sisters Emérance (late Jean) and Thelma (Merlen) and 4 brothers Roland (Ellen), Réjean (Muriel), Robert (Claudette), André (Sylvia) as well as nieces, nephews, the Dubé family, friends and his touring buddy, Chris Judd.  Funeral will be held in Church of Faith, Praise and Prayer, 1225 Highway 148, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 2 p.m.  The family will receive condolences in the church starting at 1 p.m.  Reception to follow.  Donations may be made to the Church of Faith, Praise, and Prayer, or to the charity of your choice.
