Ronnie was our 1st cousin and although we haven’t kept in touch over the years always fondly remember our visits to the farm in our younger years and the fun my brother Ray and I had with Ronnie then.

Dear June and family, please accept our sincere sympathy on the loss of your husband, father, and grandpa. I am sure Ronnie would have known Tim McGraw’s song “Humble and Kind”. I’m sure he could even have played it if he wanted to. To June and all of Ron's family, my sincere condolences. I look on Ronnie as a special friend and neighbour. He helped me transition into country life and especially the beautiful Pontiac with his often unspoken but heartfelt love of the country. It should be known he also introduced me to Valley fiddlers, the occasional beer, neighbourly assistance when needed (and that was often), his friends and family. Just knowing he was next door was somehow comforting. I will miss his presence. Hugs to all.

Through all the health issues Ronnie has had in the last few years, he never lost his sense of humor or his love of music. Many Sunday nights when we were younger were spent visiting at Howard and Bertha’s place where Ronnie and Carson would play and sing a few songs. The last time I heard him play and sing was at Sheri’s reception last summer, he was so happy to be able to do that for her. Cherish your memories and pictures of all the happy times!

Our heartfelt sympathy to June, Lisa, Sherri, Neil, Gail, Lorna and families. Ronnie certainly has not had an easy time these last few years and he is finally pain-free. My earliest memories are of Ronnie playing tunes on his guitar...he loved to entertain. He loved to laugh and he loved to make people laugh. I can only imagine the joyful reunion with all his buddies that he used to play with!
