Dear Robert, Gilbert, Pauline, Paulette & Families:
Sincere sympathy to all of you on the passing of Maurice. He was a family friend of ours for many years and a fellow musician and country singer. I would always ask Maurice to sing a Doc Williams song for me called "Mary of the Wild Moor" when he came up and sang with the band. Not many people knew that song but Moe did and sang it so well.
The last 5 months I accompanied Maurice from the hospital in Shawville to Renfrew for his dialysis treatments, 3 days a week. What good chats and laughs we had.
Rest in peace in country music heaven my friend, with your beloved Laurette, whom you cared for so much and missed so dearly.
