Our sympathy to Louise and her family on the loss of Don. He was a cheerful friend and a good neighbour with high standards of personal conduct. He loved animals, especially small ones, and he would often stop by for a chat while walking Daisy, right up to the time when his health no longer permitted it.
Don was also a skilled craftsman who was as adept at mastering home improvements as he was at creating eye-catching outdoor seasonal displays. His love and concern for his family was always apparent. Just as we cannot choose our parents, so too, it is often the situation with neighbours. In the case of Don and his family, we couldn't ask for anything more.
