Obituary of Shirley Ann Bissonnette (nee Gagnon)

Peacefully, in Pembroke Regional Hospital, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of  57 years.  Beloved wife of the late Maurice Bissonnette.  Loving mother of Karie (Joey Sullivan), Corey (Lindsay Hammill) and Tyler.  Cherished Nana of Owen and Ella Sullivan.  Predeceased by her parents Carmelita Brazeau and Oney Gagnon of Chichester, Quebec.  Dear sister of Jimmy, Chichester, QC, Larry (Betty), Chapeau, QC, Earl (Mary Lynn), Chichester, QC, Neil (Shelley), Renfrew, ON and predeceased by Sheila (Terry Godin), Petawawa, ON.  Dear sister-in-law of Victor (Sheila), Waltham, QC, Daniel (Laurina Gagnon), Pembroke, ON, Ronald (Sylvia Cuartes Botero), Chambly, QC, Theresa (late James Godin), Pembroke, ON, Edna Stevens (Shawn White), Pembroke, ON and Marcel (Maria), Ottawa, ON.  She will be missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Alphonsus Church, Chapeau, Quebec on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.  Interment Parish Cemetery in the Spring.  Donations in her honour to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Alphonsus Church would be appreciated.
