Obituary of Edmund Miller

Norman Edmund (Eddie) Miller Passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in his 92nd year surrounded by family. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years (and sweetheart of 76 years), Lois (Bunny). Dear father of Debbie, Gary and Dawna (Dalton). Sadly missed by grandchildren Erin and Jesse. A veteran of the Second World War, he continued to serve in the RCAF for 34 years. He was an avid Scout leader and community volunteer. His career continued with Sears Canada in Calgary until his retirement in 1987. He and Lois then moved to Ottawa to be closer to family and friends. They have lived in Kingston since last autumn when they moved to be closer to their daughters and grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 134 CentreSt., Shawville, QC on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
