Dear Rosie and Les
How saddened I was to read of Sandy’s passing. I’ve seen him many times for Chiropractic care over the years and was shocked to read of this happening. I sincerely enjoyed seeing him each visit. A great guy.

Our beautiful friends Rossie and Les and to their incredible children Tim, Laurie, Mike, Pat and their families and to Sandy's Princess ...his beloved Lyne...and to Joey, Robert and Skye...
It is so difficult to wrap our minds around the fact that one of the most amazing families in our lives has experienced such a tragedy....please know we have prayed for you and continue to pray for a peace that passes all understanding. The Mulligan family has so many moments of our journey together and we can tell stories of the times we were with Sandy and the happiness he brought to our souls. Two particular ones stand out...the first one is the christmas we spent with you after our dad died, Sandy gathered us all in the farmhouse kitchen to play his favourite card game. He called it "$@%hole" and I kept looking at my mom to see if it was okay to play...she was laughing so much and so we played it all afternoon. He told me that day he wanted us to laugh and enjoy our time together and it was important that we move forward and live our lives...those words will never leave me....and I know that he would want that for you...he never minced his words, he said what he felt in his heart. The second one is when Lyall and I got engaged and he asked us if we wanted a dog. He called me to say he found one and knew we were going to live on a farm and felt that a farm would be the best place for this dog. We drove over that night and he gave us supper and needless to say, we took the dog home. We still laugh about that because that dog was the most hyper out of control dog we ever had.The special thing in this story is how caring Sandy was...he knew the dog beat to its own drum, but he knew the dog needed someone to love him. Just like Sandy. He beat to his own drum and he was so loved because he did.
No-one has the perfect words to make your sadness go away, but may you feel comfort in knowing how many people wish they did. We love you greatly and are walking with you on this journey...we are here, always.

Our sincere sympathy to all of you on the passing of Sandy. It is so hard to loose a son, husband & father all at once with no warning at all. My wife and I are still trying to understand such a tragedy as we lost our 27 year old son last year. Nothing makes sense. All we can hope for is that they are in a better place and we will all meet again someday.

I had served with Sandy in the Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment/ 1 Air Defense Regiment in Pembroke. Sandy always had your back, he was a straight shooter, he was the type of person you would want beside you if things got bad. He could make you laugh, he was honest, he will be missed.
