Spent several summers during summer holidays while a lad in grade school staying with Grandmother ( Bella ) and Grandfather ( Byers ) on the Stephens farm . My mother was Uncle Willies sister (Annie ).
.
There was always lots of conversation and fun stories at the house.
I recall being very homesick at one time ( my home was in Ontario ) and Uncle Willie brightening my day with a gift of a homemade " Service Station " that he secretly made. It kept me occupied and playing "Garage" with my toy cars and took my mind off home.
He was such a kind and gentle soul and will be missed by all that were lucky enough to have shared time with him.

It’s been a few years since we’ve seen Willie. As a child and adult I remember visiting the home farm. I have fond memories of sitting around chatting with Grandma Grandpa Stephens, Dan and Willie were always there ready to share a story or two.
