To the family and friends of Lillian. Please accept my condolences during this difficult time. When a loved one passes it can feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. I've been through a similar loss recently so I can sympathize with all. If I could share one thought , it would be that turning to the scriptures at this time can truly help. Revelation 21:4 was very soothing when I read that "God would wipe away our tears "and one day even "death itself will be no more". Please take a minute to open your own Bible and read the scriptures. It can really help.

Our deepest condolences to Lillian's family. One of my fondest memories of Lillian was when my Dad and I would stop in at the shop her and Clarence had in Ladysmith.I seem to remember ice cream cones. Most recently, her friendly face was one of the first to greet you at the weekly summer flea markets.

I have many wonderful memories of Lillian, we took an oil painting class in Eganville together many years ago, travelled every day marvelled at the clouds, the light reflecting in the sky. Many laughs were shared, we also shared a love for antiques. Very sad to hear this news, I will miss her.

I have known Lillian for most of my life, as our history goes back to attending Leslie #2 School (used to be on King Road) when we were young kids. The one-room school has long since been moved (to Hahn's Lake,I believe) and only the memories remain.
I always look forward to reading Lillian's column in the Equity, as it keeps me abreast of the Ladysmith news. I will miss her weekly update.
