Obituary of Rémi Vaillancourt

Décédé le jeudi 14 juin 2018 à l’hôpital de Pembroke, Ontario entourée de beaucoup d’amour dans sa 96 ieme années. Il était l’époux bien-aimé de Jacqueline Allard pendant  72 merveilleuses années de mariage. Fils de feu Sinaï Vaillancourt et de feu Bertha Ellis. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Sylvie, Pierrette, Richard, Pauline, ses petits-enfants et ses arrière petits-enfants. Il laisse également ses deux frères; François et Pierre. Précédé par son fils Norman en 2007, ses frères; Paul, Jean, Marcel et sa sœur Gilberte. Il était un époux, un père très dévoué et aimant pour sa famille. Il a toujours eu un regard positif sur la vie malgré les épreuves. La famille recevra les condoléances a la Maison Funéraire Hayes, 56 rue St-Jacques, Chapeau, Québec le mercredi 20 juin 2018 de 19h a 21h et le jeudi de 9h30 a 10h30. La messe des funérailles sera célébrée à l’église St. Alphonsus, Chapeau, Québec le jeudi 21 juin 2018 a 11h. Inhumation au nouveau Cimetière St. Alphonsus, Chapeau, Québec.

Passed away in hospital, Pembroke, Ontario on Thursday, June 14, 2018 surrounded by love in his 96^th year. He was the loving husband of Jacqueline Allard married 72 wonderful years. Son of the late Sinaï Vaillancourt and the late Bertha Ellis. He leave to mourn are his children; Sylvie, Pierrette, Richard, Pauline, his grandchildren and great grandchildren and also his brothers; Francois and Pierre. Predeceased by his son Norman in 2007, his brothers; Paul, Jean, Marcel and his sister Gilberte. He loved and cared very deeply for his family. Always has a positive outlook on life and his favourite saying was “the man who made the time made lots of it”. Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 56 St. Jacques Street, Chapeau, Quebec on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass of Chrstian Burial in St. Alphonsus, Chapeau, Quebec on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 11 a.m.  Interment in the new St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Chapeau, Quebec.
