I had a great visit with Jean one Sunday afternoon not so many weeks ago. We reminisced about the years when we were neighbours and she did volunteer work for the parish. The spark of humour was still there as were her other qualities like candour, faith, and a profound gratitude for life's blessings.
I am recovering from surgery and so will not be able to attend her wake or funeral. Please know that I will be there in spirit. I offer my sympathy to her family and friends.

I was saddened to hear of Jeans passing. Many fond memories had formed over the years. Whenever I was visiting my family in Ottawa, there would always be an invite to visit the McCann family home for Thanksgiving or Easter lunch.
