Obituary of Violet Eleanor Bretzlaff

Passed away peacefully in her 91^st year on June 7, 2018 in Shawville hospital Long Term.  Daughter of the late Gustave and Emma Yach.  Beloved wife of the late Arno Bretzlaff.  Dear mother of Sheila (Fred Johnston) and the late Craig.  Loving grandmother of Jeff (Jenny) and Lisa (Kelly) and great grandmother of Reid, Jamieson, Gwen and Ashlyn.  Dear sister of Geraldine (late Wally Buchanan), Edgar (Rita), Melbourne (Jeannie) and Linda (Ed).  Predeceased by her brother Julius and his wife Leona.  Our sincere gratitude to the staff of Shawville Hospital Long Term for their kindness and wonderful care they gave Mom as well as the support they provided during this difficult time.  Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  There will be no visitation on service day. Funeral Monday, June 11 at 11 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, Schwartz, Quebec.  Interment Parish Cemetery.  Donations to Zion Lutheran Church or Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation-Long Term would be appreciated.
