Obituary of Roy Abbott

Passed away at his residence on May 5, 2018 at the age of 88 years.  Beloved husband of Céline Hachey and the late Iris Baker (1995).  Cherished father of Douglas and Jeffrey and stepfather of Robert, Danny and Jean Paul and their spouses. Proud grandfather of Sonia, Rachelle, Karina, Jeffrey Junior, Michael and Kaitlin and step grandfather of Malissa, Michael, Thomas, Cassandra and Shayne. Great grandfather of Alexandra,  Andrew and Simon. Son of the late William Abbott and Annette Dubois. Dear brother of Viola (Norman) and Ruth Sauvé. He will be remembered by Linda Abbott, Denise Abbott, many nieces, nephews and extended family as well as dear friends George and Doris Lamothe, Loma Poole, Kenneth McCallum, Maynard and Leona Tanner, and especially the Khan family and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 162.  A Celebration of Roy’s Life will be held at his Lawless Lake Residence on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
