Shirley was a truly wonderful woman. She had so much energy and life. Shirley was a fantastic host, one heck of a card/game player, still as sharp as a tack, a wonderfully supportive and kind person, an amazing woman.

I had the pleasure of working with Shirley in the order office of the Sudbury Public Library from the mid 70's until she retired and continued to exchange Christmas cards with an enclosed note. She was such a gracious and kind person. She will be missed by all of her many friends and we will continue to have fond memories of past experiences. My sincere condolence to her entire family.
