My Sincere Condolences to all Margaret's family at this sad time. We met when we were 12 years old ,doing our entrance exams for grade 8. at the Victoria school. I am truly sorry I did not hear of her passing till I read it in the equity. So I missed all her services . Her and Hiram were such a wonderful couple so sweet. I pray for all her family and friends . Again , I am so sorry nobody bothered to call me. I belonged to the Eastren Star , with her and Hiram for a lot of years . She and I were the same age . Our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother, brother Keith (Bea) Helen (late Doug), Eleanor (Colin), Roberta and sisters-in-law Isabelle and Pat. I have known Margaret and Hiram through the Order of the Eastern Star and Sister Margaret was close to our hearts. Margaret was one of my Grand Instructors in 1993-94 and she always reminded me of this. She will be sadly missed.

It is so sad to read of Margaret's passing. I am the youngest son of Uncle Jim and Aiunt Maud Thompson. I remember visiting Margaret as a child when we came to visit the Thompson and Smith Families in the Shawville and Bristol Area. Margaret and Hiram lived very close to My Aunt Lillian and Uncle Harry Mc Cleary.
I will be unable to attend the funeral, but wish the family all the best.
