I remember Joey as a very friendly and kind man. He stepped up when we lost our Dad and made the day of the Funeral a very special memory for us. He played Maple Sugar on the fiddle at the cemetery for us. We are grateful to have known him and realize you have lost a special person.

Condolences to all the family, friends and music buddies.
One Of my fondest memories was of Joe and my little dog Brandy singing how much is that doggie in the window. Brandy knew When to bark and Joe thought that was just hilarious. He wanted to take her to Nashville!

I was shocked & saddened to learn of Joe's passing, I bumped into him a year or two ago in Shawville and we had a brief chat about the good old days, if I had known that he was in the Shawville Hospital I would have visited him. We never played together all that much but when we did I always enjoyed his music & banter. RIP-JOE

Our sincere condolences to the Teevens family. Joe was a remarkable person, family friend and wonderful entertainer. Joe was a dear friend for many years to my parents Annabelle and Everett Olm, they had so many great times together! Joe sang at our daughters christening at St George's church in Ladysmith, it was beautiful. We have been neighbours at our cottage on Thorne Lake for many years. We will miss Joe.

My very sincere condolences to the entire Teevens connection...Joe, Bob Sally, Big Jim Connors, myself and several others spent a memorable weekend in the early 80's at Fiddle Park in Shelburne, Ont.
