Dear Shirley, Susan, Brenda, Doug & families.
I was saddened to hear of Don's passing. It's been a tough couple of years for him, and for him, I am happy that this horrible disease is over. But for you, I do understand the huge void he will leave behind. May your many wonderful memories help you through these difficult days.
Sincerely,
Kathy

I was sad to hear of Don's passing. I was aware he was ill, after discussions with Neil McMunn. I remember Don as a very friendly man, and one of the leaders of our neighbourhood, church and the community of Shawville. I am sure that Susan, Brenda and Doug have many more happy and proud memories of their Dad that will provide some comfort at this time.

During the summer months we were fortunate to be at Green Lake with the family, especially after the Canada Day festivities in Shawville. Whenever we did visit Don always took us out on his pontoon (with drinks and snacks of course) to tour the lake and give us commentaries on whose who! We enjoyed these delightful afternoons and the stories he told and just enjoyed being at the cottage with Susan and Dale and any other family members or friends who happened to be there. Never tired of Don and Shirley telling stories of their long years both at Green Lake and Shawville. We are saddened to hear of Don’s passing and send our deepest condolences to the family. May he Rest In Peace, we will always think of you and the good times we shared.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad, I met your dad every time i went in to the home to see my mom (SHIRLEY TURCOTTE DUNLOP) we would sit and tell stories of our travels, most of the time we talked about his trips out west to visit his family. He was a very interesting man. I sat with him the XMAS party for your mom and he was excited just to your mom tapping her foot to the music this put a smile on his face. I feel your pain as my dad NEIL DUNLOP passed away 9 years old.
