Obituary of Hewitt McCredie

Hewitt passed away peacefully in the Pontiac Reception Centre, Shawville, Quebec on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Beloved father of Margo ((John Blasko) and Greg. Dear grandfather of Matthew, Megan and Owen. Predeceased by his parents Dougal and Annie and brothers Ronald (Evelyn Duff) and Robert (Corrain Zahodnik). Hewitt was a long-time Hydro Quebec (38 years) employee, an avid outdoorsman and a bush pilot.

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, January 17 from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 -11 a.m. Funeral service will follow in the chapel. Spring interment in Maple Grove Cemetery.
